The DPRK intends to equip its Naval Forces with nuclear weapons. This was announced on June 24 by the leader of the republic, Kim Jong-un.

"The navy is turning into a full—fledged branch of the armed forces, equipped with strategic means, which means that its nuclear weapons program is exactly following its planned course," RIA Novosti quoted Kim Jong-un as saying.
