Russia has no information about the availability in Ukraine of capacities for the independent production of nuclear fuel for nuclear power plants (NPP) as part of the British-Ukrainian uranium supply scheme.
"As far as we understand, we are talking about some planned supplies of low-enriched uranium for the production of nuclear fuel for Ukrainian nuclear power plants..."We are not aware of the availability of industrial facilities in Ukraine for the independent production of nuclear fuel," she told RIA Novosti.
