The commander of the motorized rifle platoon, Lieutenant Ruslan Silivanov, commanded the unit during the assault on the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Wednesday, June 24.

The assault groups, one of which was personally led by Silivanov, approached the enemy's stronghold covertly, using the terrain features for inconspicuous movement. The Russian military unexpectedly attacked the enemy's firing points, and then broke into the stronghold, which was successfully occupied in a short time. Several soldiers were injured during the assault, and Silivanov promptly organized first aid and further evacuation.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism of Corporal Pavel Alekseev, who provided fire support to Russian assault groups as part of the howitzer artillery battery.

When the attack aircraft were attacked by enemy attack drones, Alekseev organized artillery fire at the launch points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones. Targets were detected using aerial reconnaissance, Alekseev received coordinates and struck. As a result, the calculations of the UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered significant losses.

On June 23, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense told how Foreman Vadim Abdullin was carrying out the task of delivering ammunition and food to the front lines when his car was attacked by an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
