Local traffic closures are possible in the center and south-east of Moscow on Wednesday, June 24. This was announced by the press service of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development on Tuesday, June 23.

"Because of this, the usual routes may not be available, and the travel time may increase," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message as saying.

The press service recommended, if possible, choosing the metro for trips to the center and southeast of the city, thinking over alternative routes in advance and leaving with time to spare, writes Moscow 24.

In addition, on Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27, traffic will be blocked on a number of central streets of the capital. This is due to the Moscow Transport Electrofestival, reports 360.ru .

Earlier, on June 18, temporary traffic restrictions were introduced in the south-east of Moscow. Traffic on the MKAD is closed on the section from Novoryazanskoe to Kashirskoe highway in both directions.
