Avtodor announced the readiness of the reconstruction of the M-1 Belarus section by 95%

The readiness of the reconstruction site of the M-1 Belarus highway, which is being carried out from 66 to 84 km in the Odintsovo city district of the Moscow region, is 95%. This was announced by Avtodor's press service on June 23. After the reconstruction, the section will be expanded from four to six lanes, which will increase the capacity.

According to the state-owned company, the facility is now in a high state of readiness, and specialists are carrying out the final work. Thus, work is underway on one overpass and six aboveground pedestrian crossings, the installation of barrier and mesh fences, the reclamation of the right-of-way, the application of horizontal markings, as well as the installation of road signs and landscaping measures.

498.4 thousand tons of asphalt concrete were laid at the facility, more than 47 km of barrier fencing were installed, more than 34 km of monolithic parapet fencing were installed in the dividing strip, two bridges over the Naru and Kapanka rivers and three overpasses were erected. A recreation area for drivers is provided on 74 km of the highway, and work on it has almost been completed.

In addition, Avtodor said that measures are continuing to preserve the cultural heritage site, namely the monument "Tank T-34", which is located on this section of the highway towards Moscow. It is planned to restore it in the future.

On June 17, the state-owned company announced that by the summer holiday season, a set of measures to ensure traffic safety, increase the capacity and comfort of road travelers heading to the Black Sea and Azov coasts had been completed on the M-4 Don highway.
