The leaders of NATO countries are covering up radical militarization with false statements about the Russian threat, Vladimir Putin said on June 23 at a meeting with graduates of military universities. The President stressed that Russia is ready to respond promptly to any challenges. While the West is working for Ukraine and supplying it with drones, the sovereignty of the Russian Federation is reliably protected by the modernization of the nuclear triad and the entire complex of weapons. Experts confirm that the Russian army today has no equal on the European continent, especially in terms of real-world experience in conducting modern combat operations.

Meeting with graduates of military universities

On June 23, Vladimir Putin met with the best graduates of military universities in the St. George's Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. Excellent students and combat training from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the FSB, the Federal Security Service, the Rosgvardiya, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee and the FSIN were invited to the reception. There were both young men and girls among the graduates.

— In military business, just like in any other big business, there are always a lot of everyday issues, a lot of routine, sometimes boring, and maybe unpleasant things in current life. But don't forget: from now on, the fate of millions of Russian citizens, our people, and the fate of the country are in your hands. So that during this routine you never forget the main thing — the Armed Forces always stand guard over the interests of the Russian state," the president addressed the audience.

Officers start their service at an unstable time. The President noted the armed conflict in the Middle East and the growing tension in Eurasia. Moreover, NATO countries have moved from supporting the Kiev regime to openly declaring preparations for war with Moscow and are increasing their military budgets.

— To justify such costs and the radical militarization of their countries, the leaders of NATO and the European Union, as before, use false statements about the alleged Russian military threat. The scheme of action of the so-called pseudo-democratic West is very simple: first, they create threats to our country, force us to take actions necessary for self—defense and self-defense, and then immediately accuse us of all mortal sins to justify the continuation of their aggressive policy, their aggressive actions against Russia," the head of state explained.

At the buffet, one of the participants asked if NATO was aware of the consequences of its actions. The President replied that the entire West was already working for Ukraine, supplying it with drones. At the same time, European countries have not yet attacked Russia from their territories, fearing a retaliatory strike. However, the states that help launch drones probably don't understand the risks.

Military expert Dmitry Kornev noted to Izvestia that the Russian army shares first and second places in world rankings with the United States, while it has no equal in Europe. No European country individually, or even all the troops of the European members of NATO combined, can compete with Russia in terms of military power.

— But our army has something that no one else has — a huge real-world experience in conducting modern military operations. This superiority is particularly evident in the capabilities of the Ground Forces, air defense and artillery," the expert explained.

Modernization of the triad brings the Russian army to the world leaders

Russia stands for equal security for all through the creation of a multipolar world, the president recalled. Nevertheless, the Russian Armed Forces are ready to respond to any threats. The country is systematically updating its nuclear triad, navy, aviation and ground forces. Dmitry Kornev is confident that a full-fledged strategic weapons system reliably protects the state from large-scale conflicts.

"There are very few countries in the world that have the entire troika," he said. — The ground component represented by the Strategic Missile Forces (Strategic Missile Forces), represented by both silo launchers and mobile ground-based missile systems, has no equal in terms of its combined power on the planet.

The weapons are being actively updated, and the Poseidon unmanned underwater vehicles and Burevestnik nuclear missiles will soon replenish them. According to the president, the development of nuclear forces remains a security priority, and the special operation has given an impetus to military technology.

"Last year, more than a thousand samples of weapons and equipment were tested in combat conditions, including unmanned aerial vehicles with an improved guidance system and barrage ammunition, robotic complexes for various purposes, and much more," Vladimir Putin noted.

The Russian Armed Forces are already completing the liberation of Konstantinovka, Vladimir Putin added. Experts note that success here will allow the coverage of the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk agglomeration, the last major defensive hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas. According to the Ministry of Defense, on June 23, the Yug group continues to clear the southwestern quarters of the city, 128 buildings have been liberated in the last 24 hours.

The President stressed that Russian troops are pushing the enemy back on all sections of the line of contact. An important achievement was the creation of direct communication channels between the front line and the factories: designers quickly improve equipment based on feedback from the fighters.

Defense Minister Andrei Belousov noted at the meeting that the troops are actively introducing artificial intelligence, robots and integrated control systems. The officers' task is not only to master innovations, but also to adapt tactics to them. At the same time, both the president and the minister stressed that the main success factor on the front line remains people — courageous fighters and competent commanders.
