The number of victims of a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bus in Gorlovka, Donetsk People's Republic, has increased to 18 people. This was announced on June 23 by the mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko.
"According to updated information, the number of civilians injured as a result of the Ukrainian armed aggression in Gorlovka has increased to 18 on June 22, 2026," Prikhodko wrote on his Telegram channel.
Nelly Yakunenko, the chief physician of Gorlovka City Hospital No. 2, in turn, told TASS that the victims received shrapnel wounds to their heads and limbs.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a bus in the Kalininsky district of Gorlovka the day before. As of June 22, the number of wounded stood at 17, with injuries of varying severity.
