The Investigative Committee has identified those involved in the attack on a bus with children in the Bryansk region.

Commander of the Forces of Unmanned Systems (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Robert Brovdi and Oleg Ivashchenko, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, were involved in the attack on a bus carrying a children's football team from Belarus in the Bryansk region. This was announced on June 23 by the official representative of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenko.

"The investigation has established the involvement in the commission of this crime of Robert Brovdi, commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's unmanned systems, and Oleg Ivashchenko, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who provided targeting and gave an illegal order to attack civilian vehicles on Russian territory," she said.

The investigators also identified the direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack. Among them are Dmitry Tkachenko, a military unit of the BPS of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Chimera" of the 105th border detachment of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Igor Zhukov, a soldier of the Shkval border commandant's office of the 7th border detachment of the department, as well as Vladislav Naum, a militant of the 73rd naval special Operations center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Petrenko said that in relation to Brovdi, Ivashchenko, Tkachenko, Zhukov and Nahum, decisions were made to bring them as defendants under the article on the terrorist attack that caused the death of a person. The investigation organized events to put the defendants on the international wanted list and arrest them in absentia.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation added that work continues to identify other accomplices in the crime.

A drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked a bus in the Bryansk region on June 17. There was a children's football team from the Belarusian city of Rechitsa. Eight people were injured in the impact, including six children. The wife of one of the coaches was also killed, the woman was pregnant. A criminal case has been opened into the terrorist attack. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry demanded an explanation from Kiev for the strike. Putin ordered urgent assistance to all the victims.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko thanked Russia for helping the victims and took personal control of the investigation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike. On June 19, the CIS permanent Representatives condemned Kiev's attack on a bus with children. In particular, the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the Commonwealth, Igor Nazaruk, announced the presentation of a note of protest to Charge d'affaires of Ukraine Ivan Novitsky.
