In Russia, more than 290 civilians suffered from attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a week. This was announced on June 23 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

"Over the past seven days, more than 290 civilians have suffered from attacks by Kiev's armed formations. This is the largest number of victims in a week since the beginning of 2026," he said in an interview with TASS.

Miroshnik also pointed out that the Belgorod region was subjected to the most massive attacks. According to the Ambassador, it was attacked daily by up to 260 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The intensity of Kiev's attacks on the Kherson region and the Zaporizhia NPP has also increased.

Earlier in the day, acting Governor of the Belgorod region Alexander Shuvaev reported that as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on the region over the past 24 hours, one civilian was killed and five others were injured.
