Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are actively using improvised explosive devices, including magnetic mines, on roads in the combat zone. This was announced on June 23 by a Marine Corps soldier in the Center group with the call sign Jaguar.

According to the driver of the 61st Guards Marine Brigade, the enemy collects explosive devices from any available materials, while their execution does not matter - even PVC pipes and electrical tape are used.

"Mines are being dismantled, melted down, and C-4 (American—made plastic explosives - Ed.) is being used. What is at hand is used," the marine told RIA Novosti.

The serviceman noted that when detecting suspicious objects, maximum care must be taken. According to him, one should not try to clear them on their own or approach them, as well as open fire on them, since it is not known what they can be filled with and in which direction the fragments will fly. He stressed that in such situations, the main thing is attentiveness and caution.
