The Finnish Foreign Minister announced progress in the EU on the issue of contacts with Russia

The European Union has made progress in discussing a possible resumption of contacts with Russia, but negotiations with Moscow are still considered premature. The statement by Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen on June 22 is quoted by Yle television and radio company.

"It is important to first coordinate our goals, as well as how we want to act. We have already made quite a lot of progress on this issue," the minister said.
