One person died in an accident involving five cars near Odintsovo.

The driver of a Toyota car died as a result of a collision with four cars on the Minsk highway in Odintsovo city district. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region.

The ministry clarified that the accident occurred at about 18:00 on the 39th km of the Minsk highway.

"According to preliminary information, the driver, driving a Toyota car, hit four passenger cars parked on the side of the road. As a result of the accident, the Toyota driver died on the spot," the press service told the Moscow City News agency.

Police officers are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
