A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The enemy lost over 210 people, an armored combat vehicle, 16 vehicles, a Grad multiple rocket launcher combat vehicle, a field artillery cannon and an Israeli-made RADA counter-battery warfare station.

The western group of troops has taken more advantageous positions and frontiers. Ukrainian formations in the Kharkiv region and the DPR were defeated. In Krasny Liman, the assault troops continued their offensive and liberated 46 buildings in a day. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 220 soldiers, 17 vehicles, two artillery pieces and an electronic warfare station.

The military personnel of the southern group of forces improved their tactical position and hit the enemy in the areas of the DPR settlements. In Konstantinovka in the DPR, Russian troops continued to advance, liberated 103 buildings and destroyed strongholds of Ukrainian formations. The enemy lost up to 165 militants, three armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles and a self-propelled artillery installation.

Units of the Center group of forces improved their position along the front line, and also hit Ukrainian formations in the DPR and the Dnipropetrovsk region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than 335 people, three vehicles and two field artillery guns.

The Vostok group of troops continued to move into the depth of the enemy's defenses. Ukrainian Armed Forces units were defeated in a number of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. The enemy lost up to 460 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle, a self-propelled artillery installation and eight vehicles.

Fighters of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the Armed Forces brigades in areas of populated areas of the Zaporizhia region. More than 50 Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters, nine vehicles and two electronic warfare stations were destroyed.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated oil refining facilities, fuel, energy and transport infrastructure of Ukraine, fuel depots used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, places for the assembly and storage of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 142 districts.

12 guided aerial bombs and 734 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 167044 unmanned aerial vehicles, 662 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29870 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1746 multiple rocket launchers, 35454 guns of field artillery and mortars, 64658 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
