New CTP coefficients began to operate in the Novosibirsk region
New territorial CTP coefficients have been in effect in the Novosibirsk Region since June 22, the All-Russian Union of Insurers (VSS) announced on its Telegram channel.
Earlier, the Central Bank of Russia revised down the coefficient values in this region after the regional authorities intensified the fight against insurance fraud, the VSS noted. For Novosibirsk, the coefficient is reduced from 3.12 to 2.34, for Berdsk — from 2.48 to 1.86, for Iskitim — from 2.32 to 1.74. For other cities and towns of the region, it will decrease from 2 to 1.5.
Thus, according to the Central Bank, 86 criminal cases of insurance fraud were initiated in the Novosibirsk Region in the first nine months of 2025, while 37 cases were initiated in the first two months of 2026 alone, and 217 cases were already initiated in four months.
"The reduction of the coefficient is a reaction of the regulator to the specific results of the struggle, and not just a gesture towards the drivers. The Bank of Russia will continue to monitor unprofitability in the region. If the scammers find new schemes, the coefficient can be raised again," the representatives of the union emphasized.
In April, it was reported that the average cost of CTP policies in the Republic of Ingushetia has increased 2.8 times since December, and 2.2 times in the Novosibirsk region. In the whole country, policies for novice drivers have risen in price by about 14%. This happened after the Central Bank expanded the tariff corridor for passenger cars by 15% in both directions and doubled the territorial coefficient for regions from the "red zone".
