The modern leadership of Europe has surpassed the Third Reich in terms of Russophobia. This was stated on June 22 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, speaking at the conference "Soviet Diplomacy in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945: lessons and conclusions."

"Today's situation is painfully reminiscent of the 30s of the 20th century. The leadership of the united Europe has surpassed the Third Reich in many ways in its Russophobia, openly proclaimed the beginning of preparations for war with Russia to inflict a "strategic defeat" on us, RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

Zakharova also pointed out that the Kiev regime openly introduces Nazi symbols and ideology into the structures of the army and government. Also, according to her, Russia, with the support of the countries of the Global South and the East, every year at meetings of the UN General Assembly advocate the adoption of a resolution against the rehabilitation of Nazism, which is traditionally hindered by Western powers.

Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that most of the international community shares the values of Russia and Belarus and is ready to resist any manifestations of neo-Nazism.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on May 15 that Germany was once again leading the movement in support of Nazism in Europe, and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was now appointed to the role of Fuhrer. Lavrov noted that the situation is alarming and resembles historical events, however, according to him, there is confidence that the outcome will be the same as before.
