Sobyanin spoke about the reconstruction of historical school buildings in the Tagansky district

In Tagansky district, three historical school buildings belonging to schools No. 498, No. 1270 Vector and No. 1468 are being reconstructed under the My School program. This was stated by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Maks messenger.

Every school is over 90 years old. The main buildings were built in the mid-1930s according to individual architectural designs. School No. 1270 "Vector" in Tovarishchesky Lane is decorated in the style of an ancient castle. The entrance group of the building is decorated with a high arch and a small tower, in which there is a spiral staircase. The building consists of two buildings: an additional part was added to the main school building, erected in 1936. School No. 1468 is located on Novorogorskaya Street and also has two buildings: the historical one, built in 1934, is decorated with a decorative cornice, and another building with a height of 3 floors adjoins it, which was added in 1980. They are connected by a gallery. School No. 498 on Narodnaya Street is a single monumental building with monumental masonry walls.

During the renovation work, it is planned to completely reconstruct the historical buildings, preserving their architectural features and decorative elements. The facades will be decorated in a stylish color scheme with terracotta-olive or sand-olive accents. The chosen design style will also be applied to the interior decoration of the building. Recreation areas with sofas and poufs will be set up in schools, and modern video libraries will be equipped.

Also, during the renovation, school grounds with a total area of more than 2 hectares will be landscaped. There will be physical education and sports areas, outdoor playgrounds for both the youngest and high school students. There will also be venues for official events and places for relaxing holidays in schools.
