Night movement on motor vehicles was banned in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, from Monday, June 22, the movement of a number of motorized vehicles was temporarily restricted during the night hours and during the alarm. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev, the press service of the regional government reports.

The document has already entered into force and will remain in effect until further notice. As the authorities explained, the measures are related to improving the safety of residents and ensuring the smooth operation of city services.

Mopeds, pit bikes, tricycles, quadricycles, ATVs, motorcycles with an engine capacity of up to 125 cc are subject to restrictions. Motorcycles are also not allowed to move from 22:00 to 06:00.

The movement of all listed vehicles is prohibited for the period of the announcement of the signals "Attention to all! Air alert!" and "Attention everyone! Air alert and sea danger!".

According to the SevastopolMedia news agency, the police, together with authorized representatives of the city executive authorities, will monitor compliance with the regime.

Earlier it was reported that since June 22, temporary forced restrictions on all mass street events have been introduced in Sevastopol. The decree will remain in effect until further notice.
