The Gorod 312 group presented a reinterpretation of the song "How Young we Were" by Alexandra Pakhmutova and Nikolai Dobronravov on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow.

The version of "City 312" is dedicated to the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War. The music video premiered on June 22, and on June 26, the single will be available on all music platforms. The song is meant to remember those who gave their lives for their homeland and how important it is to preserve our historical memory.

In 1975, the authors of the famous work put into it reflections on the passage of time, love and fidelity, which resonated in the hearts of millions of listeners. In the version of "City 312", the famous lines have acquired a new sound, becoming a bridge between the past and the present, a hymn to the eternal youth of the spirit and a feat that should not be forgotten.

"For us, this song is about heroism, about love for our Homeland and the fact that nothing in the world goes unnoticed. It was an incredible honor and a huge responsibility for us to touch the great work of Pakhmutova and Dobronravov, which we all know primarily performed by Alexander Gradsky. On the Day of Remembrance and Mourning, we want every listener to be able to stop, remember their heroes and feel the power of this music," said Diana Makarova, lead singer of Goroda 312.

The clip accompanying the premiere is already available for viewing. In the video, the team carefully preserved the atmosphere of deep respect and bright sadness, emphasizing the tragedy and at the same time the greatness of the memorable date. The track will be released on all streaming platforms on June 26.

The clip and track were created with the support of the Integration Production Center and the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.

Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier. Soldiers of the Honor Guard company set up a wreath of red roses and carnations in front of the Eternal Flame during the funeral march. The President knelt at the wreath and adjusted the ribbons. The head of state also laid flowers at the bedside tables of the hero cities, including Kiev and Odessa.

In addition, an action "Candle of Memory" was held on the Cathedral Square of the Main Church of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region. The military set candles along the Memorial Road museum complex near capsules with earth brought from burial sites and mass graves of Soviet soldiers.
