On June 22, a court in the Kemerovo Region sentenced Vyacheslav Telegin, the former head of the Kuzbass government, to 12 years in prison.

In addition to imprisonment, the court imposed a fine of 4.8 million rubles on the defendant. The ex-official was found guilty of fraud.
