Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on Russian territory

As a result of attacks by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the DPR, one person was killed and seven others were injured, and a civilian was killed in Gorlovka when a Ukrainian submunition detonated.

The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said that air defense systems intercepted 59 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on approach to Moscow. In the Voronezh Region, the air defense forces eliminated 18 drones over six districts, and in the Rostov region, drones were destroyed in the city of Gukovo, as well as in Chertkovsky and Verkhnedonsky districts.

Five drones were also shot down over the Kaluga region. There was no information about casualties or damage on the ground.

US-Iran Talks

The parties discussed the situation around the Strait of Hormuz, including recent statements by the Iranian side about its potential closure. Tariffs on Iranian oil exports have also been lifted, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said.
