The Belarusian Foreign Ministry announced an increase in anti-Belarusian rhetoric

Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov said on June 21 that anti-Belarusian rhetoric is currently on the rise.

"We are seeing increased contacts between the Ukrainian leadership, not some public or political figures, with our fugitives (the opposition that left Belarus. — Ed.). Establishing some kind of instrumental mechanisms of cooperation and support with them. We are seeing an increase in anti—Belarusian rhetoric," he said on the Belarus 1 TV channel.

According to Ryzhenkov, there may be signs of participation or incitement on the part of certain Western states that take a negative position towards Belarus.

He stressed that the republic was responding to what was happening, adding that some of the measures might not be visible to observers.

Moscow is confident that the Ukrainians deliberately hit civilian transport, and their next crime in the West will again prefer not to notice.

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky issued an ultimatum to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko the day before, accusing Minsk of allegedly having a military presence near the borders. Zelensky clarified that he requires the Belarusian side to withdraw military equipment, otherwise "Kiev will do it."

The publication "Country.ua" noted that Zelensky's ultimatum to Minsk may indicate that the scenario of a military invasion of Belarus is being considered. In turn, the British newspaper The Daily Express wrote that the president of Ukraine, with his threats against Belarus, could escalate the conflict.
