In Crimea, two people were killed in a traffic accident involving a passenger car and a minibus. This was reported on June 21 in the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"As a result of the accident, two people were fatally injured, one of whom is a 17-year-old minor. At the time of the traffic accident, there were 18 people inside the minibus," the Telegram channel says.

The incident occurred on the Simferopol–Krasnoperekopsk highway near the village of Otkrytie. It is noted that the driver of a BMW born in 1986, while overtaking, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Mercedes minibus driven by a driver born in 1954. Information about other victims is currently being clarified.

According to the publication, an investigation is underway into the incident. In addition, the issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.

On June 19, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia informed Izvestia that 320 road accidents had been recorded on Russian roads over the past day, in which 34 people were killed and 372 injured. It was noted that 29 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
