Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov harshly warned NATO countries in response to the aggressive expansion of the West. This was reported by the Daily Express newspaper on June 21.
"Russia has sent a frightening threat to NATO. <...> Chief Diplomat of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin Putin suggested that the current situation could spiral out of control and escalate into a nuclear World War III," the article says.
