Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded actor Vladimir Konkin the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree of the head of state was published on June 21.

"For his services in the field of culture and art, and many years of fruitful activity <...>, to award the honorary titles: "People's Artist of the Russian Federation" to Konkin Vladimir Alekseevich," the document says.
