Sergeant Yangizov revealed the location of the mortar position and the AFU stronghold
The head of the FPV drone crew of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Junior Sergeant Chingiz Yangizov, revealed a carefully camouflaged mortar position and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special operation. This was announced on June 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
It is specified that Yangizov discovered the enemy objects during aerial reconnaissance, after which he made calculations for hitting targets and promptly transmitted the data to the artillery control center. The sergeant corrected the fire of the guns personally. Thanks to Yangizov's professional actions, the artillery firing position with calculation and the fortification of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
In addition, the commander of the motorized rifle unit, Senior Lieutenant Valentin Golovchenko, competently coordinated the actions and fire of the assault group, performing tasks to dislodge the enemy from their positions in an important and most dangerous tactical area. During the battle, the soldier quickly got his bearings in the situation and organized medical assistance and evacuation of two wounded soldiers.
The Ministry of Defense pointed out that thanks to Golovchenko's determination, the assigned combat mission was completed. The attack aircraft managed to move deep into the enemy's defenses and gain a foothold on a new line, which further helped the successful advance of the Russian Armed Forces in this direction.
On June 20, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Guard Corporal Dmitry Shabanov destroyed two heavy drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a combat mission to defend the unit's stronghold. In addition, the department noted the courage of Senior Lieutenant Artur Shaislamov, thanks to whom the assault platoon successfully occupied an important stronghold and consolidated its position.
