Technical talks between Iran and the United States in Switzerland are scheduled for June 21. This was reported by Bloomberg on June 20, citing a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
"Iran and the United States will hold technical talks on Sunday in Switzerland," the article says.
It is specified that mediators from Pakistan and Qatar will also take part in the discussions.
US Vice President Jay Dee Vance confirmed on the same day that US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and businessman Jared Kushner had already arrived in Switzerland. He expressed confidence in the strength of the achieved interstate truce and in maintaining the ceasefire.
The US-Iranian memorandum itself was signed three days earlier. After that, the head of the White House threatened Tehran with a resumption of bombing if the final agreement specified in the memorandum was not reached within 60 days.
