Putin appreciated the contribution of the military to improving the standard of living of Russians

The inventions and advanced developments of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR) have brought real benefits and significantly raised the standard of living of Russians. This was announced on June 20 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the founding congress of the VOIR.

"Over the past decades, more than 2 million inventions and advanced developments have been created and put into production under the auspices of VOIR, which have brought real practical benefits and have become a significant contribution to strengthening the domestic scientific, technical, industrial, infrastructural potential, and improving the standard of living of our citizens," Putin is quoted as saying on the Kremlin website.

The Head of State called the society an authoritative organization in which talented and enterprising scientists are united by common tasks. According to him, VOIR can become a platform for uniting the professional community of engineers, designers and specialists, including for promoting youth initiatives.
