The crew of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) Su-35S multipurpose, super-maneuverable thrust vector fighter performed combat duty in the interests of the Vostok group of forces in the area of a special military operation. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 20.

The ministry clarified that the purpose of the duty was to cover the actions of army aviation helicopters during air strikes against enemy personnel and temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

According to the Ministry, pilots fly combat missions at any time and under any weather conditions.
