"The number of confirmed cases of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has increased to 933, including 245 deaths," the publication says.
According to the minister, 80 recovered patients have been discharged from Ebola treatment centers.
On June 9, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed 550 cases of Ebola infection in the DRC, with 101 people becoming victims of the disease. The main focus of infection remains the province of Ituri, which accounts for 94% of the total number of cases, which is 487 people.
Reuters reported on June 17 that the European Union will provide €493 million in financial assistance to combat the outbreak of fever in Central Africa.
