Repair of tram tracks on Klyuchevskaya street started in Ulan-Ude

Major repairs of tram tracks on Klyuchevskaya Street are starting in Ulan-Ude. Work will begin on the night of Saturday, June 20, according to the press service of the city administration.

As part of the project, 1,650 meters of single track will have to be renovated. The road workers will replace the old sleeper rail with a new one, straighten the rails, and conduct aluminum-thermal welding.

The contractor is a contractor organization that previously worked on Babushkina Street.

According to IA UlanMedia, the site leads to the final stop "Melkombinat" and has been in operation since 1975. No repairs have been carried out on it since then.

Earlier it was reported that a three-lane overpass will be built in Ulan-Ude in the Glass Factory microdistrict. The 500 m long and 18 m wide structure will connect Borsoev and Voronezhskaya streets.
