Dynamo stadium in Stavropol will receive a heated field

The field at the Dynamo stadium in Stavropol is being heated. Ivan Nifontov, Deputy chairman of the regional government, told about this and other details of the reconstruction.

"The field needs to be heated, despite the fact that the climatic conditions in the Stavropol Territory are warm. We have seen that snow falls in May," the official said.

According to him, the emergency grandstand has already been dismantled at the facility, the podium rooms, the running arena and the roof are being repaired. The contractor will also restore the grandstand, which is a cultural heritage site.

For the duration of the work, Dynamo Stavropol football club holds home matches in Yessentuki. After the renovation is completed, the team will return to their home arena.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, the authorities did not share the details of the reconstruction for a long time. After the New Year holidays, the townspeople noticed that one grandstand was being dismantled at the stadium.

The details of what was happening became known only at the end of March. At that time, the authorities announced that the reconstruction of the sports facility would be completed in the first half of 2027.
