Trump allowed an operation to be carried out in Cuba by analogy with Venezuela

The United States may conduct an operation against Cuba similar to the one carried out in Venezuela. This was announced on June 19 by the American President Donald Trump.

Vice President Jay Dee Vance noted on June 18 that the White House administration is negotiating with the Cuban government on possible changes in the country that will help improve bilateral relations with the United States. He noted that if the Cuban authorities make reasonable decisions, US relations with the island will become much better.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said on May 22 that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was trying to provoke military aggression against the country by tightening sanctions imposed by the United States. Rubio responded by noting that Cuba poses a threat to the national security of the United States, and stressed that the state needs systematic and serious changes so that it is no longer considered "failed" and dangerous.
