The Russian Prosecutor General took control of the problems of Sverdlovsk entrepreneurs

On June 19, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Alexander Gutsan met with representatives of the local business community during a working trip to the Sverdlovsk region and took control of the problems of regional entrepreneurs.

"The products of metallurgical, chemical, and mechanical engineering industries are in demand both domestically and on foreign markets, including China and India. The contribution to the economy of small business is no less significant. It ranks fourth in Russia in terms of turnover," Gutsan said.

The head of the supervisory authority stressed that Yekaterinburg remains the largest industrial center, where the concentration of industrial production is four times higher than the national average.

According to the Prosecutor General, a direct dialogue with entrepreneurs serves as a platform for an open discussion of systemic problems. This format allows us to find effective solutions and overcome administrative barriers through joint efforts.

After listening to the appeals of business representatives, the head of the department thanked them for a meaningful conversation. He assured those present that the results of the meeting would become the basis for new supervisory measures aimed at protecting the rights of entrepreneurs. He also expressed confidence that joint efforts will help influence the development of economic activity and the business climate in the region.

On June 9, the United Russia party submitted to the State Duma a bill providing for maintaining the income threshold at 20 million rubles, after exceeding which small businesses must pay VAT under the simplified taxation system. It is noted that the authors of the bill were Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of the party, Vladimir Vasiliev, head of the Duma faction, Andrei Makarov, head of the State Duma Budget Committee, and others.
