Belarusian children who were hit by a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Bryansk region have become a target for terrorist ambitions. Igor Petrishenko, First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS, told reporters on June 19.

"This act was definitely pre-planned, when our children became the target for some kind of incomprehensible terrorist ambitions," the TASS news agency quoted him as saying.

He noted that the Kiev regime did not choose the target by chance. The Deputy Secretary General of the CIS stressed that the organization calls on international institutions to assess the incident impartially. According to Petrishenko, the world community is obliged to respond to such facts with concrete actions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a bus carrying a children's football team from Gomel to Gelendzhik on June 17. The victim of the tragedy was one person, a woman who turned out to be the wife of one of the coaches. According to the latest information, eight people were injured.

Information about the incident was brought to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, which demanded an explanation from Kiev. In addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered urgent assistance to all those affected. Later, during the investigation, Russia handed over all the established data to the Belarusian side, and Belarusian investigators examined the attacked bus.
