The film "Pinocchio" will open the first Central Asia+ Film Forum in Almaty

The film "Pinocchio" will open the first Film Forum of the CIS member countries "Central Asia+". The forum will be held on June 24 and 25 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event will bring together representatives of the film industry from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The Film Forum will be organized by Roskino with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS member States. The screening of "Pinocchio" will take place as part of the opening ceremony of the forum, which will be attended by the film's director Igor Voloshin.

The film was produced by the Hydrogen Film Company and Art Pictures Studio, the National Media Group (NMG), Channel One, Plus Studio, Art Pictures Distribution with the support of the Cinema Foundation. The distributor of the cinema rights of the film in Russia is NMG Film Distribution. The exclusive distributor of digital, television and foreign rights is Art Pictures Distribution.

The screening of "Pinocchio" at the Film Forum will continue the international history of the project. The film has already been presented to the professional community at the world's largest film markets — the European Film Market in Berlin and the Marché du Film in Cannes, and the film rights have been sold to more than 50 countries around the world.

"The international geography of the film continues to expand, and everywhere we see great interest in the film due to the universality of the plot, modern artistic language and values that are understandable to viewers from different countries," said Anastasia Korchagina, CEO of Art Pictures Distribution.

The film "Pinocchio", which became a reinterpretation of the famous fairy tale, was also shown at the Russian Film Festival, which took place in Serbia from June 9 to June 30 as part of the interstate Days of Spiritual Culture. One of the audience, who came to the cinema with her children, said that the movie was fantastic. She noted that the film was made using modern technologies and advanced capabilities.
