The expanded business program of SPIEF-2026 has been published
An expanded business program with a list of participants has been published on the official website of the XIV St. Petersburg International Law Forum (SPIEF), which will be held in St. Petersburg from June 24 to 26, 2026. The search for new points of contact in the era of global crises, updating approaches to partnership and laying the foundation for a stable future will be among the key topics of the upcoming Forum.
"In modern conditions, compliance with the principles of international law is the only reliable foundation for maintaining global stability. Respect for State sovereignty and non—interference in the internal affairs of countries are not just legal norms, but the key to a predictable and secure world order, where the rule of force gives way to the rule of law. An in—depth analysis of these challenges, the search for ways to strengthen the legal foundations and solve key tasks facing the legal community will be the topic of discussions at the upcoming St. Petersburg International Legal Forum," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
SPIEF 2026 will be held under the motto "Time to be right", which emphasizes the importance of timely response to internal and external challenges in order to form a fair and sustainable foundation in the system of world relations based on equality and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The business agenda of the Forum includes more than 100 events covering topical issues of the legal industry and over 600 speakers and moderators.
During the Forum, participants will discuss legal issues related to the development of modern technologies, the provision of free legal aid, the activities of NGOs and charitable organizations, the future of national arbitration by 2030, cybersecurity and a number of other significant legal issues.
The development of modern technologies and artificial intelligence is one of the key tracks of the Forum this year. At the Deepfake as a Challenge to Forensic Science session, participants will discuss current issues of combating cybercrime, as well as the impact of AI on the future of forensic medicine and criminology.
The legal animated series "How much?", created by students of the universities of the DPR, will be presented on the sidelines of the SPIEF. The project is aimed at implementing state policy in the field of justice.
Within the framework of the Arbitration Lounge, guests will be able to get acquainted with the activities of leading Russian and foreign permanent arbitration institutions, study the history of domestic centers, their achievements and current developments, and the stand will be open to the public all days of the Forum.
The program also includes a thematic exhibition "200 years since the Decembrist Uprising: lessons from the past for the present." The exhibition, dedicated to this historic date, consists of five sections: from the stage of preparation for the uprising to the trial and the subsequent fate of the participants. The exhibition presents archival documents and historical evidence from the collections of Russia's leading museums and cultural institutions.
A presentation of the concept of the unified state register of executive documents will also take place at the SPIEF, and wedding ceremonies will be held as part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The events will be held at the site dedicated to the activities of the registry offices: every day of the Forum, one ceremony will be held in a solemn atmosphere reflecting the national traditions of Russia.
Special attention will be paid to the youth agenda — on the final day, the International Youth Legal Forum (MMJF) will be held. The youth day, which brings together over 100 speakers and more than 20 sessions, will focus on practical aspects of the profession, current vectors of legal work and issues of the formation of young professionals in the legal industry.
