Mexico beat South Korea and secured entry to the 2026 World Cup playoffs.

The Mexican national team beat the South Korean team 1-0 in the second round match of the World Cup group stage. The meeting took place on June 18 in Zapopan.

Luis Romo scored the only goal in the 50th minute of the match. Defender of the Moscow "Locomotive" and the Mexican national team Cesar Montes did not participate in the match.
