The countries of the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) need to increase support for Kiev through the program for the purchase of American weapons Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL). This was announced on June 18 by Elbridge Colby, Deputy head of the Pentagon for political Affairs.

"It is important that NATO allies continue and even increase their support for Ukraine's defense through the PURL initiative. This will help ensure the delivery of key materials to the line of contact," Kolby said during a meeting of the contact group on support for Ukraine.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced on June 18 that Berlin was going to allocate Kiev a total of another $400 million for the purchase of weapons under the PURL and Jumpstart programs. According to the minister, his Ukrainian counterpart Mikhail Fedorov asked for support for the JumpStart program, which is mainly intended for the purchase of missiles for Patriot systems.
