Construction of a kindergarten for 350 children, which will be decorated in a futuristic style, continues in the Filimonkovsky district of the TiNAO. This was announced on Thursday, June 18, by the press service of the Moscow Urban Planning and Construction Complex.

According to the head of the complex, Vladimir Yefimov, a three-storey building with an area of 5.7 thousand square meters will be erected on Lapteva Street. Currently, excavation work and the installation of a foundation slab have been completed at the site, construction of the first floor and the laying of engineering networks are continuing. After commissioning, the kindergarten will be transferred to the metropolitan education system, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

As noted, the architectural concept of the building will resemble an interplanetary ship due to the combination of volumes of different scales. The facades will be decorated with space murals depicting planets, moons and child astronauts, Moscow 24 notes.

Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Urban Planning Policy, said that the kindergarten will house 14 groups for children of different ages, music and sports halls, an office for educational activities, a medical unit and a full-cycle food hall. The interiors will be decorated using furniture with rounded edges, round lamps and mirrors stylized as portholes, writes NSN.

The construction of the facility is under the control of Mosgosstroynadzor. Anton Slobodchikov, Chairman of the department, noted that the inspectors had already conducted a second field inspection and assessed the quality of the monolithic structures and materials used.

On the territory of the kindergarten, 14 walking areas, sports grounds will be equipped and comprehensive landscaping will be carried out, the website writes kp.ru . Flower beds, willows, linden trees and Siberian fir will be planted here, which can later be used as a Christmas tree.
