Vyacheslav Sapega was stripped of his retired judge status in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The Qualification Commission of Judges of the Nizhny Novgorod region has decided to terminate the resignation of judge Vyacheslav Sapega of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court. The corresponding message was published on the commission's website on June 18.

The decision was made on the basis of sub-paragraphs 2 and 4 of paragraph 6 of Article 15 of the law "On the Status of Judges in the Russian Federation". According to the document, the resignation was terminated due to engaging in activities incompatible with the status of a judge, as well as non-compliance with established prohibitions and restrictions, including conducting business.
