Rutte announces the biggest transformation of NATO

NATO is facing the biggest restructuring in its history, and it will cost the alliance members a lot of effort. This was announced on June 18 by the Secretary General of the alliance, Mark Rutte, at the summit of the heads of the ministries of defense of the member countries of the bloc.

"NATO is going through a tremendous transformation, perhaps the biggest transformation in its history. We must build NATO 3.0," he said.

Bloomberg reported on June 12 that European countries are preparing for a significant reduction in military support from the United States. It was noted that the measures include a 75-100% reduction in reconnaissance and attack drones and about 50% reduction in naval vessels.
