Belarus demands OSCE to assess UAV attack on bus near Bryansk

Minsk calls on the OSCE to give a principled assessment of the terrorist attack by a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a bus carrying Belarusian children in the Bryansk region. This was announced on June 18 by Andrei Dapkiunas, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the organization.

"We call on the OSCE participating states to give a principled assessment of what happened and stop fueling the already explosive situation in the region," he was quoted as saying on the website of the republic's Foreign Ministry.

Dapkiunas also noted that Belarus regards the attack by Ukraine as a terrorist act against the civilian population. Minsk demands an immediate investigation of the incident and to bring the perpetrators to justice, he stressed.

Information about the incident was brought to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, which demanded an explanation from Kiev.
