The new Russian car brand Jeland has announced the expansion of the model range. The second model of the brand will be the J7 mid-size crossover, according to a statement from the company's press service, which was received by Izvestia on June 18.

Like the debut Jeland J6 model, which is produced at the AGR plant in St. Petersburg on a full cycle, the J7 crossover is already known to Russians under the brand name Jaecoo. The novelty is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo engine paired with a seven-speed robotic transmission. In the front—wheel drive version, the crossover's power is 150 hp, and in all-wheel drive - 186 hp.

The Jeland J7 is equipped with 18-inch wheels, eco-leather upholstered seats, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 13.2-inch vertical touchscreen multimedia system, dual-zone climate control, a Sony audio system with eight speakers, a windshield projection display, an all-round viewing system, and wireless charging for a 50-watt smartphone.

A keyless entry system is provided, and there is a "winter" package that includes heating for all seats, steering wheel, windshield, and washer nozzles. The crossover is also equipped with six airbags and a set of assistants, including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping system, blind spot monitoring and traffic assistant.

Information about the configuration and prices will appear later. A similar Jaecoo J7 costs from 2.85 million to 3.47 million rubles.

The day before, it was reported that the C5 and C7 crossovers, which are known in Russia under the Omoda brand, will also join the Jeland J6 crossover in the model range of the domestic brand.
