Russia has sent a protest note to Armenia in connection with the desecration of the Soviet memorial in Gyumri. This was announced on June 18 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

She noted that information resources associated with the authorities are trying to accuse Russia of allegedly desecrating the memorial.
