"NATO should correct its misconceptions about China, stop provoking confrontation and shifting blame, and at the same time think deeply about its role and impact on world peace and stability as a product of the Cold War era," he said on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Thus, Lin Jian commented on the words of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that China allegedly helps Russia circumvent Western sanctions and supplies it with dual-use goods.

The representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry also said that Beijing takes an objective and impartial position on the issue of the Ukrainian conflict and strictly controls the supply of dual-use goods.
