Mishustin noted the common centuries-old history of Russia and neighboring countries.

Russia and neighboring countries are linked by a centuries-old common history, as well as a common cultural and civilizational heritage. This was announced on June 18 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at an international conference on strengthening Cultural Ties and developing Creative and Creative Industries.

"Our task is to preserve this common multinational heritage as much as possible and enrich it with new content. We have a centuries—old common history," he said.

Mishustin also said that Russia and its neighbors preserve the historical truth about the heroic deeds of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War (WWII) and honor the heroism of their ancestors who fought together against fascism. In addition, he pointed out the need to expand contacts between citizens of different countries. According to Mishchustin, this is facilitated by cross-cultural days, specialized forums and other joint events.

The train of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation "Unity in memory. Strength in a feat!" on June 15, the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, he left Moscow for Belarus. The campaign is dedicated to the common history of the countries and the memory of the dead, as well as the fight against the rewriting of history and the preservation of the continuity of the military traditions of the defenders of the Fatherland.

On June 15, Elena Malysheva, head of the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation, added that for the people of Russia, WWII is an event that strengthens the bond between generations. The train brought together seven themed carriages dedicated to the events of that time.
