A suspect in the murder of the artist Skrepetsky was detained in Poland.

Employees of the Polish Internal Security Agency have detained a suspect in the murder of Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky (real name Robert Kuzovkov), who turned out to be a Georgian citizen. This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Thursday, June 18.

"A suspect of involvement in the murder of a Russian citizen in the city of Biala Podlaska has been detained by the Lublin police and the Internal Security Agency. He has a Georgian passport," Tusk wrote on the social network X.

The security services are currently working to identify the mastermind behind the murder, he added.

Skrepetsky died on June 15 as a result of a shooting on the street. According to law enforcement officials, the 44-year-old artist died from gunshot wounds on Koroleva Jadwiga Street.

After that, two people were detained in the murder case, but they were later released. According to Marcin Kozak, a representative of the district prosecutor's office in Lublin, their involvement in the incident has not been confirmed.
