Two children were taken to intensive care after a UAV hit a bus in the Bryansk region.

Two children ended up in intensive care with shrapnel wounds after an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hit a bus carrying a children's football team from Belarus in the Bryansk region. This was announced to Izvestia on June 17 by Tatiana Markina, Director of the Regional Department of Health.

"Two children are in intensive care. These are the consequences of shrapnel wounds. And fractures of the lower and upper extremities. And traumatic shock of the first degree," she said.

It is specified that doctors consult with specialists from the capital. Intensive care teams were sent to the region.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a bus carrying a children's football team from Gomel to Gelendzhik on June 17. The victim of the tragedy was one person, a woman who turned out to be the wife of one of the coaches. According to the latest information, eight people were injured.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the terrorist act. Information about the incident was brought to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, which demanded an explanation from Kiev. Minsk promised to identify all those involved in this strike and bring them to justice.
