Two Belarusian citizens detained in connection with the murder of Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky (real name Robert Kuzovkov) in Poland have been released. This was announced on June 17 by Marcin Kozak, a representative of the District Prosecutor's office in Lublin.

"Their involvement in this incident, in connection with which very intensive investigative actions were conducted, has not been confirmed. It turned out that they had nothing to do with this case," the TV channel quoted him as saying. Тvp.info .

Kozak added that the investigation is currently considering several versions of what happened. At the same time, as noted, the suspect in the murder of Skrepetsky is still unidentified and has not been detained.

In addition, an examination of the deceased's body showed that five shots were fired, and investigators recorded shell casings and one bullet at the scene. Presumably, the remaining bullets could have remained in Skrepetsky's body. Kozak expressed the opinion that the killer may still be in Poland.

In the Polish city of Biala Podlaska, Skrepetsky was killed in a street shooting on June 15. According to law enforcement officials, the 44-year-old artist died from gunshot wounds on Koroleva Jadwiga Street. After that, two people were detained in Poland in connection with the murder. At the same time, as Adam Shlapka, a spokesman for the Polish government, said the day before, Skrepetsky was offered security services shortly before his murder, but he refused.
