In Crimea, they warned about mass fakes and forged documents on social networks
Russia's enemies are conducting an information attack and spreading fake documents, videos, and government orders on social media. Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea, announced this on June 17.
According to him, there is an attempt to shake up the situation on the Internet. The fake authors set dates for the alleged strikes and try to intimidate the population with threats of starvation and transport collapse.
"Please observe information hygiene. Filter messages and news on the Internet. The enemy has created a lot of clones of Crimean information resources," Kryuchkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
The adviser to the head of Crimea also stressed the need to trust only official sources of information.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on May 21 that Western media publications should be treated very carefully and treated "in a measured manner," as there are many fakes among them. Thus, he answered a question from journalists that, according to Reuters, about 200 Russian military personnel allegedly received training in China.
